Licensure

This program is designed for teachers who want to pursue the requirement of state licensure as a Reading Specialists. The program provides a course of study on theory, research, and practice related from emergent readers to adult readers, as well as intervention techniques for beginning and striving readers.

Dr. Mary Lynn Hamilton will present Obligations to Unseen Children: Finding Compassion, Presence, and Imagination in Teaching and Teacher Education for the Budig Lecture Series on November 20, 2014 in 150 Joseph R. Pearson. Dr. Hamilton is the recipient of the Gene A. Budig Teaching Professorship for 2014-2015.
